Getting started in the NYU HPC environment In-Person
A hands-on introduction to the HPC environment at NYU. The tutorial is available online, on the HPC wiki at Tutorial 2: Getting Started in the NYU HPC environment.
This class is aimed at NYU HPC users who are already comfortable with the Linux command line environment.
You need an NYU HPC account before starting this tutorial. You can apply for an account at https://wikis.nyu.edu/display/NYUHPC/High+Performance+Computing+at+NYU (see "Getting and Renewing Access")
If you do not have experience using the command line, we recommend the "Introduction to Unix/Linux and the shell" tutorial first (see http://nyu.libcal.com/event/2194903)
