Public Participation in Humanities Research: Using APIs and Crowd Sourcing Platforms (NYC DH Week Event)
Participants will learn how to use Internet Archive’s API to pull a set of documents from the web. They will then test a hypothesis by loading those documents onto a crowd sourcing website and asking others to answer questions about those documents.
Introductory level.
Note: You must bring your own laptop with Vagrant and Virtual Box pre-installed.
Download and install the software:

Presenter: Heidi Knoblauch: Dr. Knoblauch is the Digital Projects Coordinator of Experimental Humanities at Bard College. She holds a PhD in History of Science and Medicine from Yale University.
