Out of the Box vs. Customized Environments for Teaching and Scholarship
Are you interested in creating a digital project, either as part of a course or for your own scholarship? In collaboration with Digital Scholarship Services, this workshop is designed to help you navigate the many platform options available to you both through NYU and through outside resources. We will discuss the pros and cons of custom environments versus hosted options. Platforms covered will include WordPress, Omeka, and Scalar, as well as Amazon Web Services and Reclaim hosting. Lunch will be served.
