Weaving Connections (Fiber Arts Tutorial and Craft Circle) In-Person
Weaving Connections is a community gathering for NYU community members (students, staff, and faculty are all welcome) to come together to knit, crochet, and craft together. You do not need to be an expert to join, nor do you have to bring supplies - just bring yourself! NYU Librarians will provide a demo of knitting and crocheting basics before opening up to a casual and collaborative session. We hope Weaving Connections will offer you the space to be in community with fellow students and support a flourishing community practice of creativity and self-care within the Libraries.
Can’t make it? Check out these titles in our collection:
- The power of knitting : stitching together a fractured world
- Knitting for radical self-care : a modern guide
- Mindful knitting : inviting contemplative practice to the craft
- Super Easy Knitting for Beginners Patterns, Projects, and Tons of Tips for Getting Started in Knitting
- 100 quick & easy crochet stitches : easy stitch patterns, including openweave, textured, ripple and more
As a part of NYU's commitment to global inclusion, our events and initiatives are open to individuals of all backgrounds and identities.
