Lars Vilhuber is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Economics at Cornell University and Data Editor for the American Economic Association (AEA). Dr. Vilhuber has recently published a report detailing the comprehensive prepublication reproducibility checks that have been mandatory for all AEA journals since 2021.
The growing focus on archiving and curating research data, along with promoting reproducible research, is highly relevant to our faculty and graduate students across all domains of empirical social sciences. This relevance is underscored by the considerable progress in the AEA data policy.
