Flourish Festival - Celebrate Earth Day!: Restorative Yoga and Meditation session In-Person

April 22nd is Earth Day, so let’s practice for the planet!  As part of the 3rd Annual Flourish Festival, The Center for Global Spiritual Life invites you to join NYU Libraries for a 75 minute restorative yoga class where we will focus on grounding postures that connect us to the natural world and a gratitude/compassion meditation for the planet we all share.  Learn some meditative breathing techniques to help you center and refocus your mind as we explore some restorative postures to release and allow your body and mind to flourish.

Comfortable clothes that are non-restrictive recommended.  A limited number of yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Hunt Parr is a yoga/meditation teacher and professional dance artist based in New York City.  Hunt is an experienced registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, having over 1000+ hours of yoga teacher training.

Provided in partnership with MindfulNYU and the 3rd Annual Flourish Festival
