Database Searching with Search (Boolean) Operators and Subject Headings Online

Looking to supplement your Googling, level up your searches, and translate your real life questions into effective research strategies? This workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of our search tools, with lots of practical advice for more joyful research.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize and use Boolean operators and search syntax
  2. Recognize critical metadata and incorporate it into searches
  3. Break down research topics/questions into Boolean searches
