EcStatic Magic: Making Static Sites for DH Projects In-Person

This creative workshop, led by Digital Scholarship Student Specialist Alía Warsco, invites students and faculty to experience the magic of static site generation through an examination of the benefits of static sites and hands-on experience with tools for making static projects.

Have you ever wanted more information about Collection Builder, Wax, Jekyll themes, or free hosting with GitHub Pages? This workshop provides in-person, hands-on time to help develop your next project.

We encourage participants to bring their own computers and collections (files, images, items). Laptops can be borrowed from Circulation (laptop loans). No prior experience necessary.

NYU Libraries is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Requests for accommodations may be submitted to digital.scholarship@nyu.edu.
