Mapping the Field | Let's Get Critical Series In-Person

What is a scholarly field? How is it represented in catalogs and other library resources? How can we stay up-to-date with new developments in a field? This short workshop is intended to introduce students in the humanities to different tools and strategies for mapping academic fields. These strategies are scalable and can be applied to literature reviews, term papers, qualifying exams and dissertations and theses. This workshop is part of a series titled “Let's Get Critical: Core Research Skills in the Humanities” which focuses on relevant research skills and topics for humanities researchers.
