Primary Source Search Lab In-Person

Have you ever needed to consult primary sources but weren’t sure where to start? This workshop will introduce you to some tools and strategies for finding primary sources. This will be a hands-on session, so attendees are encouraged to come with specific research questions in mind. If you have already begun your research, please be prepared to share your topic, search terms, and strategies/tools used so far.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn how to select helpful search terms and how to refine results and,
  • Learn how to interpret and navigate catalog records and finding aids
