Meditations on Earth In-Person

Guided meditations led by Bart van Melik that weave mindfulness with reflections on our environment. Explore themes such as the connectedness of all things, and how we live in relationship with ourselves, others and the world around us. Delve into the nature of change, from the expansion of the universe, the climate, to the nature of thought itself.

Whether this is your very first meditation, or are a longtime practitioner, all are welcome.

Cushions, benches, chairs, and backjacks are available. Registration is not required but encouraged.

Sessions are part of an ongoing community meditation series hosted by the Office of Sustainability and NYU Libraries on Wednesdays throughout the academic year.
