Network Analysis for the Humanities Online

This workshop offers an introduction to network analysis for humanities scholars. Network analysis is a popular digital humanities method for mapping entities (such as people, places, or concepts) and the relationships between them. In addition to revealing patterns in your data, it can be used in public-facing scholarship such as exhibits and interactive websites.

Through hands-on practice with the free tool Gephi, you’ll build your first network, learn foundational concepts, and leave ready to apply this method to your own research. Since this workshop uses Gephi’s visual interface, no coding experience is required.

This workshop will be instructed by Kayhan Qaiser.
