Building a Citation Presence In-Person

Getting credit for your research data and publications is about more than just getting your work into the hands of publishers. Tracking your citations, having an online portfolio, and linking together your online identity and various publications are all key to showing impact of your research. This workshop will introduce participants to key components in today's research publishing environment, including Orcid researcher identifiers, journal and data citation metrics, and options for sharing impactful research.

This workshop is part of Love Data Week 2018 hosted by Data Services at NYU Libraries.
