Doing Qualitative research in Humanitarian settings: A Latin American Perspective In-Person

Join our Panelists Guillermo Sardi, Carla Desantis, and Mikhael Iglesias as they provide tools and share their experiences about doing qualitative research in Latin America inside socially excluded communities. Specifically, these three researchers share their experiences about gathering and analyzing data both in-person and remotely. Through case studies, the researchers will outline rigorous procedures for gathering, analyzing, and reflecting on qualitative data with the guiding principle of promoting Social Justice. Case studies will cover themes related to mental health, migration, citizen-state relations, food insecurity, violence, and community-led initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
