The lab offers reservable media editing, scanning, and digitizing workstations with hardware, software and online tools to support projects that require:
- Analog to digital
- Physical to digital
- Post-production
- Audio creation and editing
- MakerSpace with Cricut printers and materials
- A.I. Creation

How To Reserve
Space availability is posted by semester. You make make a reservation up to 90 days in advance. University holidays and building closures may impact availability, check the Libraries' hours for details.
- Select your preferred date and start time.
- Adjust the reservation end time using the dropdown tool at the bottom of the page (below the availability grid).
- Click the "Begin Booking Request" button to log in with your NYU NetID
- Review your booking and the room policies
- Fill out the booking form and click the "Submit my Booking" button to complete the request. You will receive an email confirmation. If you don't receive an email confirmation, reach out to sparklab@nyu.edu.
SPARK Lab Policies
- No food or drink at workstations or tables.
- Reservations will be held for a maximum of 30 minutes past the scheduled start time. After this grace period, the room may be released to another user.
